80`s T-shirtsI was recently looking for some new clothes to wear and went in to Manchester city centre to have a look around. What really surprised me was that the shops were totally full of
80`s T-shirts. Whilst I knew there was a bit of an eighties revival going on at the moment I must say I was surprised to see so many
80`s T-shirts in the shops. I suppose I thought that
80`s T-shirts were not that great the first time round so I was hardly delighted when I could not find anything else to wear. Needless to say, I cam home with nothing that day and was really disappointed. I met my best friend for a drink that evening in the local bar and was bemoaning my lack of success on my shopping trip. She laughed out loud at me when I told her what had happened and called me an old stick in the mud. She explained that this retro wear was all the rage at the moment and that I had better start wearing it if I didn`t want to appear old and frumpy. I could not believe she had said this and decided that, no matter what, I would wear what I felt good in rather than what current fashion dictated.
